Crush black pepper along with peeled and cleaned turmeric and ginger roots
Bring two cups of water to boil in a large pan.
Add all the ingredients except mint leaves, honey and lemon juice.
Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes till all the antioxidants are released and our nutrients are not destroyed
If you have a teapot infuser, add some mint leaves and let the spices and mint leaves stay in the infuser for few minutes before serving. If you dont have an infuser, keep the concoction covered in the pan itself before filtering. You can always adjust the consistency as per your taste.
