Chicken tikka is traditionally made in clay tandoors or ovens, but in this recipe, we will be using a grill to achieve the same smoky and charred flavor. The key to making succulent and soft chicken tikka lies in the marinade. Yogurt, which acts as a natural tenderizer, is mixed with spices and herbs to create a marinade that the chicken is left to soak in for a few hours or overnight.

Grill this chicken tikka recipe for a weekend barbecue or serve it as an appetizer for a dinner party. Making it at home is easier than you think, and you can add your own personal touch while still enjoying authentic Indian flavors.
